Circle Stock Soars 19% as USDC Expansion Drives 77% Revenue Surge
Circle (CRCL) shares jumped 19% in pre-market trading after reporting a 77% revenue increase to $770 million in Q4. The rally reflects accelerating adoption of USDC, whose supply grew 72% to $75.3 billion. On-chain transaction volume for the stablecoin reached $11.9 trillion—a 247% annual increase.
Reserve income ROSE 69% to $733 million, though yields compressed by 68 basis points to 3.8%. Adjusted EBITDA skyrocketed 412% to $167 million, demonstrating strong operating leverage. Net income from operations hit $133 million, reversing a $129 million loss from the same period last year.
The results highlight how Circle is monetizing its position as the second-largest stablecoin issuer. USDC’s expansion into payments, trading, and treasury operations is now driving fundamental performance—moving beyond reliance on speculative crypto market cycles.
